Ariel Dagan began his real estate career in 2006 and has since closed over 2,000 transactions, consistently ranking in the top 1% of real estate agents nationwide, as recognized by RealTrends. His deep knowledge of the New York City market comes not only from years of professional experience, but from a lifetime of personal roots in the city — having grown up at 100 UN Plaza before moving to the Upper East Side.
Today, Ariel resides in Sutton Place, where his most recent home purchase was the result of a carefully orchestrated search—he identified and negotiated directly with the sellers by methodically gathering information from his building’s doorman, demonstrating the resourcefulness he brings to every client relationship.
Ariel’s passion for real estate started early. While still in high school, he secured a summer role with Joseph Moinian of The Moinian Group, working in the leasing office at 1 West Street. That hands-on experience inspired him to get his real estate license during his final year of college. Since then, Ariel has built a career marked by data-driven insights, strategic deal-making, and an unwavering commitment to his clients.
In 2015, Ariel teamed up with his business partner Daniel Karp. What started as a mentorship quickly evolved into a formal partnership in 2017. Together, they now lead a nine-person team at Compass, which has been recognized by The Wall Street Journal’s RealTrends as one of the top-producing teams in the country — ranking within the top 1% of agents nationwide.
Ariel comes from a real estate-oriented family and currently lives with his wife and two young daughters, whom he adores. Outside of work, he enjoys reading and spending most of his free time with his family.
